Documentaries

Ma.ja.de. Filmproduktion is one of the few German production companies that have, over many years, produced documentaries that have found their way into cinemas, won awards at international festivals and have an international sales record. We have been working with many experienced directors from Germany and abroad for a number of years. These include Vitalij Manskij, Sergei Loznitsa, Pirjo Honkassalo and Thomas Heise, counting amongst the best-known documentary filmmakers of their countries. In 2006 we will realise a project with Hartmut Bitomsky.

In addition, we are also very active in the area of encouraging emerging talent.

We are very pleased about our successful cooperation with a number of German TV stations, including the editorial departments of the broadcasting networks MDR, ZDF, SWR, BR, WDR and NDR. Internationally, we cooperated with TV stations such as France 5 (France), BBC (UK), YLE (Finland), DR (Denmark), SVT (Sweden), ORF (Austria), TV Ontario (Canada), RAI (Italy), RTBF and VRT (Belgium).
